Sunday 26^th May- Afternoon Session Arrive 12pm Sharp (Mini Cru, Swag, Lil Boo and Wolfpack) Please meet Cindy and Beccy in foyer. Section Starts at 1pm.

Lili, Tiana, Mikayla and Mia to arrive at 8am

Nahri, Airbourne and Party Rockers to arrive at 9.30am

Sugar Rush and Blitz to arrive at 1pm

Anthea, Strike, Run LMB to arrive at 1.30

Maddy to arrive at 3.00pm

Phoebe, Courtney and Lekea to arrive at 4.45pm

*note both Ruby and Caitlin need to be ready for their singles section by 4.00pm

Primary Presentations are at 12.00pm

Secondary Presentations are at 7.15pm

Copies of the program will also be available on the day at the competition venue.

ADMISSION COSTS: Adults $15 Child $10 Age Pensioners $10 Family Pass (2 adults &3 kids) $55

COSTUMES: Athletes should arrive in full club uniform with their hair done for their first event (makeup for dance categories if required).

Please make sure you have all the pieces of your child’s costume in a bag (all pieces fully named).
Socks, stockings and plain white joggers for aerobics athletes (all available to purchase at Club PJs) It is always a good idea to make sure your child have a spare pair of stockings in case they get damaged on the day.

HAIR & MAKE-UP: Same as previous competition

PROCEDURE FOR THE DAY:

Could all teams please meet at the front entrance so your coach can give you the competitor’s entry pass.
Parents please keep your visits to the warm-up room to a minimum as space is tight for competitors to warm-up. Please do any hair and make-up either outside, or in the auditorium.

Please note that the coaches cannot be responsible for the supervision of your child for the duration of the day as they have other teams and children to prepare. Please note if you are not going to stay at the competition, it is requested that you organise another parent to look after your child whilst they aren’t competing.

Easter Holidays & Term 2 Dates

Term 1 is coming to an end and next week will be our last week of classes!

Please note Easter holidays start on the Friday 29th March and the studio will be closed until Monday the 8th April.(there will be no recreational classes for the duration of the school holidays)

Competition teams will have holiday training (you will have been emailed your teams training shcedule) from Monday 8th April – Saturday 13th April.

All normal training and recreational classes will resume from Monday 15th April for TERM 2.

Auditions For 2013 Teams

When: Monday 10th – Wednesday 12th December 2012

Venue: Industrie 1 Studios – 5 Veronica St, Capalaba

Arrival Times:
It is imperative that dancers/athletes arrive at least 20 minutes prior to each audition to warm-up. A room will be provided for stretching and warm-up so if you require a longer period, that is fine.

Cost:
$10 per audition to be paid on the day of each audition.

Audition Permission Form:
Parents, please ensure you are present at the audition afternoon to fill out all relevant permission forms and receive all documentation regarding competition teams for 2013.

***Monday 10th December 2012:

AEROBICS SQUAD (compulsory for trios/teams/singles) 2013: 4pm-5:15pm Mini and Cadet (13 years & under for 2013)

Elite Dance Program – Information Night Wednesday 28th November 2012

E.D.P (Elite dance program)- EDP is a new stream of dance at Industrie 1 Studios which will offer elite dance training for dancers wanting to take their dancing to the next level. The program will see dancers trained in not only hip hop but also acrobatics & tumbling, break skills, flexibility, technique , turns & jumps, lyrical, popping & locking and much more. Dancers will spend time with their crew choreographers as well as numerous guest choreographers on a weekly basis. This program is designed for the committed and passionate dancer wanting to accelerate their skills. The EDP program is going to be run in collaboration with the ‘Elements Collective Studio’ (in Fortitude Valley) offering students the opportunity to dance and be trained by some of the most influential choreographers in the country and from overseas.
